Scrumptious for 54th Monthlyversary!

Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera :D

Last Tuesday was our 54^th monthlyversary. Such a huge number, Alhamdulillah.  Traditionally, we’ll celebrate this date. (long enough to make a tradition out of it :P) Whether it’s huge with fancy dinner and jalan jalan, or just a simple text message. To forget this date is a taboo :P So, forget about romantic (boring, usual) dinner, we’re decided to have romantic (not boring) lunch instead.

So, here we are, at Scrumptious! (visit their facebook <- here!)

Scrumptious restaurant is a tip top restaurant as I see it. Nice and beautiful ambience.  Banyak cerita shoot kat sini, ‘Dan Sebenarnya’ , ‘Tiramisu’ dan banyak lagi la boleh tengok kat facebook dia. Waitress die pun foreigner haaa.  OK next, their foods. There are a lot of ‘menggiurkan’ choices.  Tapi sebab nak save budget, we choose their lunch promotion. You can choose one starter and one main course and free ice lemon tea, for about RM15.00+ per person. Their lunch promotion is different for every week, and it starts at 12.00pm to 4.00 pm. And yeahhh, this Scrumptious Restaurant is 100% Bumiputra (maybe except the waitress :P) and is Halal. Nice ambience, delicious foods, plus the promotion, and HALAL. It’s worth to try lorr. Last entry, 11^th June? Hurm,its been a while. So, let me tell you what happened while I’m gone.

Me and my nyet, we’re entering this competition held by ice room. The prizes are fantastic! There is weekly prizes and Grand Prize which is RM10,000! For weekly prizes, 1^st place, iPad2, 2^nd place, iPod touch, and third place, RM300 Ice Room voucher.

To enter this competition, you have to upload a picture of you with the ice cream and a picture of your receipt. The one who has uploaded for the top three most pictures will win. There has been a crazy race! You can visit their Ice Room facebook <- click here, or their Ice Room website <- click here, for more info. Because the competition is still on guys!

So, we have been observing how the game is play for two weeks, and by the third week, we start the race! And luckily, there are not so many contestant that week, so you can see the result on 3rd week here <- and yes, we won the 2^nd place and won the iPod touch! Yeayyyy!!

Well iPod touch is a smaller version of iPad2, and it has almost the same function as iPhone but without making call and SMS. :) You can see details here, <-

So we were invited to an event (upacara penyampaian hadiah) at Ice Room Kota Damansara.

There are also other winners from 1^st and 2^nd week, and also ada Dato’ (owner Ice Room) kot.

Yang best lagi, dapat makan free malam tu, hehehe :P

School Holiday Trip to Petrosains, KLCC

Assalamualaikum, Salam Sejahtera :D

Today is the last day of school holiday, for kids, students, my nephew, my sisters (because they’re teachers), spend today wisely. Hahaha. 2 weeks has gone so fast, right? What have you done in school holiday? Your teacher might make you to write an essay about your holiday, kids. :P but, I’ll tell mine first.

Well, me and my nyet, we’re pretend like we’re kids and visit Petrosains. It was actually his first time there. (kesiann :P) So when we arrived in front of the Petrosains, there are soooo many kids, (budak sekolah) school  trip, panjang je beratur nyee. Meriahnye takyah cite la kann “-_- takpelah sbb kami pon konon2 gak merasa jadi mcm budak sekolah kembali. But the advantage is, bila berebut nak bermain barang pameran dgn budak sekolah, kami la yang menang, hehe :P

It was ermm my 4^th visit here if I not mistaken, so I become tourist guide la kepada nyet nih. 1^st time I went there with a school trip when I was in Form 4. Mula mula nak masuk petrosains, ade kenderaan masa ape tah, yang bulat tu, kita akan melalui banyak2 skrin, and what I remember most, gambar2 tu tak berubah dari dulu, wajah2 yang sama, fesyen 90-an, hehe :P

Cerita Bergambar - Kdy's Bachelorette Party

Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera :D

For the first time ever, I’m updating my blog not in KL but in my hometown, Kuantan.

This entry (as always) is outdated again. About my friend Kdy’s bachelorette party which held at Kuantan on 21st May :D :D

These are my friends since school and some of them since kindergarten; imagine how many years we know each other now. OK, there are seven of us, but only 6 can make it to this party, since Ruwaihah is no longer a bachelorette, so she’s out! Haha, kidding :P well, she have her new commitment now so no more parteyy la kan  :)This bachelorette party is a part of our tradition, been done since Ruwaihah’s and will continue to other members. :D

So here’s our ‘cerita bergambar’

Sorry banyak gambar yang kurang kualiti nya, ade org tu tertinggal charger kamera, and terpaksa continue bergambar menggunakan kamera hanset, nak harapkan my camera handset, sangatlah sedih nye ye :P

Lepas makan, karaoke. First time kitorang dapat karaoke sama2 :)

2 lg makhluk sudah dikenalpasti disini, Zahidah in 1st and 2nd picture and Kdy, the one we celebrate in the 3rd picture, we'll see the better picture of her later.

And most of them tak nyanyi pon, well as a lead singer, I took charge :P

Dan ini, lagu pilihan mereka , kenapa ada tajuk lagu "tunangku kekasih orang"? 

sendiri mau ingat, hahah "-_-

Lepas karaoke, shopping barang2 dapur untuk BBQ.

thanks to my sister sbb pinjamkan BBQ set.

then, kami pun berangkat ke Homestay Selesa Balok :)

Luckily, we are the first customer at the homestay, so we all la yg rasmikan homestay tuh.

The house is very nice, cantik, kemudahan semua cukup, selimut, towel, sabun2, bahan2 masak, garam gula minyak semua ada. (beras if requested :P)

sape2 berminat nak duk homestay tu RM150 semalam, I can give you the akak's number.

For me, I hate the middle room, sbb ade tingkap kat atas dekat dgn syiling. sangat horror, terus teringat cerita Ju-On. imagine tengah2 malam nak tidur, terpandang kat tingkap, ade nampak kelibat yg tak sepatutnya ade kat situ "-_-

Akhirnye, we all tido satu bilik, nasib bilik master nye luas. walaupon umah tu ada 3 bilik "-_-

So this are the foods for the night!

ada cupcakes! ayam bakar, kambing bakar, sosej bakar and fruits!

That's all for that night,

then, tomorrow morning, bawak makanan yang tak abis, buat sandwich, picnic tepi pantai, sadly, Humaira da balik time nih.

Why me and Zahidah acting like that? the answer is simple, because we're cousin!

so we have the exact amount of 'hu-ha hu-ha' . lol :P

TADA!! inilah mereka yg specky dan nerd! :P

then, lps breakfast di tepi pantai nih, kami pon pulang ke homestay dan bermandi manda.

hahah. so lepas tu, pulang ke KL, first time balik Kuantan tp tak balik umah.

Selamba Cafe

Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera  :D

Remind me untuk siapkan entry bachelor party after this, sbb rakan rakan dah menunggu, haha.

Tapi memandangkan malas nak edit gambar, so nak post entry yang takyah edit gambar dulu. Haha.

So, I’m going to promote this one cozy, delicious, reasonable-price restaurant: D

It called Selamba Café, located at Wangsa Maju Seksyen 5, opened for about a month ago.

Let’s just see the pictures la eh,  :)

You will see the foods keep coming, because me and my nyet we were very hungry and tamak tak ingat dunia. :P

 I'm drinking 'jumping queen' its a strawberry flavored, RM3.90

 Chicken Chop! (I personally think it can be improve if they put cheese on it, because I just love cheese, yummeh!) RM9.90

  His choice, Pasta and Selamba Sauce, RM7.80

The meatballs are here, resemblance from IKEA's, come with jam :)  RM8.90

And ouh, here come soup of the day, mushroom soup and garlic bread :D RM2.90

So overall the food was nice, and most important, the price is affordable. I love the fries! I finished all the fries by myself.Sangat kenyang sampai rasa nak meletup perut. :P

Sumpah Seranah

Assalamualaikum , salam sejahtera  :D

 I was recently having a few not so good moments. I’m angry with my life, people around me.

I feel being exploited and down. I need to express my feeling and decided to wrote about it but I will not wrote it too specific, too sensitive and too publicly. Haha. I’m not gonna say like “I’m mad at you Fuc**r”

So, I made a general writing about my general anger.  I don’t know how to call it, a poem maybe. I used to write things like this when I was in school but never wrote something about anger. Anyway, this is my err poem, called “Sumpah Seranah”

Sumpah Seranah

Hidup ini tak selalunya indah,

Maka lahirlah pula yang dinamakan sedih, gundah dan marah,

Tak semua kemarahan dapat ditahan,

Maka kita mula menyumpah seranah.

Apabila semua serba tak kena dan salah,

Apabila yang baik sering dipejamkan,

Apabila sabar hilang kuasanya,

Maka kita melontarkan sumpah seranah.

Tatkala makhluk bernama manusia alpa tentang asal usulnya,

Yang disibukkan hanyalah kepentingan diri,

Bongkak dan tamak itu yang pasti,

Mana hilangnya nilai moral dalam diri,

Maka manusia itulah lagi menyumpah seranah.

Ada yang rasa dirinya cukup hebat,

Sehingga lupa tanggungjawab yang pasti,

Merasa diri sentiasa diatas, dipijak pijak yang berada di bawah,

Dihina hina yang kurang upaya,

Ditangguh tangguh apa yang patut diberi,

Maka menyumpah seranahlah manusia ini lagi.

Mana hilangnya semangat setiakawan,

Ada yang ada hanya sedang senang,

Mana mampu membela diri,

Apabila sahabat sendiri mengkhianati,

Haruskah diajar bagaimana menjadi sahabat sejati,

Tidak lain tidak bukan, sumpah seranah diberi kembali.

Kitakah yang menyumpah, kitakah yang disumpah,

Masing masing tidak mahu mengalah,

Akhirnya, maki hamun juga yang kedengaran,

Bagaimana lagi harus dilakukan, jika semua terlalu mengikut perasaan,

Marilah kawan, marilah teman,

Buangkan saja amarah itu, hentikanlah kepentingan diri,

Hormatilah sekeliling anda, sebelum semuanya memakan diri.

So, that’s it. My writing yang bolehlah dikatakan sebagai sajak :P

I learn to be careful with what I’m gonna say. I tried as hard as possible to make this whatever-poem look general, because I don’t want end up telling the world about my privacy, just like you know, the girl yang admit pasal dirinya dah tak virgin. I believe she’s actually sad with what she has done and at one time, she can’t handle to be strong anymore and she makes a denial. She denied that she is sad. Just like my denial when my mom passed away, I denied I was sad and at last I become angry at my life. Actually, we do have personal issue that we didn’t realize. We think we’re fine but actually we’re not. Don’t be ashamed to see a doctor/psychiatrist/ counseling.  :D

So I’m gonna stop here before I babbling too much.

Jangan marah marah, dan jangan buat orang marah.

Remember we have to respect everyone. Even the girl yang admit ‘proudly’ pasal dia da tak virgin tuh.

She might have an issue and we know nothing about her. Siapa kita nak hukum orang lain.

Just because certain things that she said, doesn’t mean we can assume we know her well and judge her.

Let just pray for world peace :D
